Philip Dean Adkins' Obituary
Philip Dean Adkins, 69, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on June 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Ironton, OH on June 2, 1953 to the late Donald & Jo Adkins. Philip was a loving husband and devoted father. He was a hard worker who retired from Flowers Bakery in Florida in 1992 and Grief Brothers in Guyandotte, WV in 2019. He was an excellent provider for his family in every way. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Adkins; sister Teresa Ferris (Paul Ferris); brother David Adkins; sisters in law Hattie Judd (Kenny Judd), Peggy Adkins, Edna Eplion; brother in law Woody Foster; nephews Jacob Brandonburg, Gary Hetzel, Gregory Nance, Joshua Thacker; granddaughter MyKala Humphrey. He is survived by daughters Helena, Danielle Escalante, Vanessa Humphrey (David), Jennifer Rood (Matt). A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday June 25, 2022 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
