Phyllis Jean Green's Obituary
Phyllis J. Short Green 73, of Proctorville, formally of Miller, Ohio, went to be with her Lord peacefully on January 1, 2022, at home. She was born April 18th, 1948, to the late Elijah and Gertrude Short and was a member of Promised Land Church. She was preceded in death by late husband Farrell Green; 3 brothers, Curtis Short, Richard Short, and Gregory Short; and 2 sisters, Katherine Litteral and Betty Ferguson. She is survived by her children, daughter Tara (Josh) Wells, and son Bob (Penny Shope) Hinkle; 3 sisters Beverly (Everett) Montgomery, Sharon (David) Dennison, and Donna (Harry) Rice; 1 granddaughter Mattie Sue who she loved more than anything and was her world; and a host of nephews, nieces, friends and loved ones. Private Family Services will be held with Truman Johnson officiating. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
