Priscilla "PK" Bocook's Obituary
Priscilla Karen "PK" Bocook passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Flossie, her father, Leonard, brother, Pocho and sister, Sue Baby. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David "Butch" Bocook of Burlington, Ohio; two children, Robin(Paul) Scarberry of Burlington, Ohio and David(Denise) Bocook of Boyd County, Kentucky; four grandchildren; Ryan Scarberry, Kaila(Gary) Wheeler, Hunter Bocook, and Brooklynn Bocook; four great grandchildren, Jaiden, Raelynn, Zaydence, and Kylen; five siblings, Leonard (Tannya) Mullen, Frances (Ray) Hughes, Barbara (Dennis) McKenzie, Tina Mullen and Marcia Mullen. PK will be remembered as the life of the party and a gifted woman who had a special and unique bond with everyone she met. In a sense, she raised four generations of neighborhood kids in Burlington who looked at her and Butch as their own mother and father. She was a very giving woman who loved to play bingo and help other people. She loved being a mother, grandmother and wife. She was especially proud to be from 3rd avenue in Huntington, West Virginia and considered those who grew up there family. The family is grateful to the men and women of the Patriot Ambulance Service for an outstanding job of taking care of our mother. PK had a life long best friend, Barb Hardy who the family wishes to recognize. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family is simply asking that you contact your parents and tell them you love them.
