Ralph Michael Carrico's Obituary
Ralph Michael Carrico, 70, of Scottown, Ohio walked through the gates of Heaven, Saturday, July 8th, 2023. He was born February 19th, 1953 to Ralph and Phyllis Carrico of Ironton. Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clyde and Helen Carrico, maternal grandparents Jack and Ina Wright, and his father Ralph Carrico.
He leaves behind his loving wife of almost 28 years, Kimberly Carrico; his mother, Phyllis Carrico of Ironton, OH; his brother, Gary (Shelley) Carrico of Kitts Hill; his sister, Teresa (Dave) Pemberton of Ironton; his daughters, Mika Ross of Huntington, WV; Aleshia Napier of South Point, OH; and Jillian (Travis) Moore of Jacksonville, Florida. His two stepsons, Shawn (Jackie) Corn of Patriot, OH and Adam (Bethanie) Corn of Scottown, OH; Twelve grandchildren, Britany Carrico, Tifany Carrico, Jenna Dunfee, Braden Corn, Jake Napier, Tanner Corn, Millie Napier, Carter Moore, Adalyn Corn, Annabeth Corn, Brynn Moore, and Wylder Corn. He also left behind four great grandchildren Owen Pike, McKenna Lambert, Paxton Pike and Amari Colis, nephews Garrett and Reid Carrico and Justin and Chris Collins, and a host of other family members and friends that he loved dearly.
Mike was a lifelong farmer, a member of Perkins Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and a 37 year employee of Altivia Petro Chemicals (HaverHill Plant). As Mike would say, "This is not goodbye; it's a see you later."
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11th, from 6-8 and Wednesday July 12th from 11-1 at Halls Funeral Home in Proctorville. Funeral service will begin at 1 on Wednesday, officiated by Mike's friend and Pastor, Luke Taylor.
