Rarren Armonn Berry's Obituary
Rarren Armonn Berry
December 21, 1983 – June 5, 2026
It is with both heavy hearts and grateful smiles that we share the passing of Rarren Armonn Berry, who left this world on June 5, 2026, at the age of 42.
Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Rarren lived a life full of kindness, generosity, and a knack for making even the most ordinary days feel ‘special’. Whether it was his love of family and music, practical jokes, telling stories that grew more colorful (and hilarious) with each retelling, or offering a warm hug at just the right moment, he had a gift for making people feel seen and loved.
Rarren is survived by his parents, Rance and Dianne Berry; his brother Rance A. Berry II (Kelley); sister, Cher’Ron Berry, nephews William and Andrew Berry; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who will carry forward Rarren’s light. He is reunited in peace with his grandparents; John W. and Evelyn C. Berry, Thomas A. and Artelia M. Trotter; Aunt Edith ‘Jackie’ Berry and Uncles Maurice Berry and Thomas A (T-Bird) Trotter who no doubt are already organizing a heavenly gathering.
A celebration of Rarren’s life will be held on Saturday June 13, 2026 at Abundant Life Ministries, 1534 Washington St E, Charleston, WV 25311, where we’ll share stories, laughter, and maybe a few tears. Meet and Greet will be at 12:00 pm, with the memorial celebration starting at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask you donate to https://polycythmia.org.
While we will miss him dearly, we take comfort in knowing his love of family, laughter and kindness will echo in our memories forever.
