Raymond L. Brooks' Obituary
Raymond L. Brooks, 74 of South Point, Ohio passed away Tuesday November 19, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. He was born May 20, 1945 in Huntington, W.Va. to the late Edgar Clyde and Marie Dalton Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Edgar Clyde Brooks Jr.; two sisters, Thelma Brooks and Laura Rosemary Putnam. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Bonnell Brooks; son, Brandon Che Brooks of South Point, OH; grandson, Cody M. Brooks of Talmadge, OH; sisters, Louella Childers of Huntington, W.Va. and Sharon Pergamo of FL; sister in law, Saralynn Mann of Huntington, W.Va.; nephews; Brooks, Josh, Dennis, and Brent; nieces, Karen, Vanessa, Vickie, Valencia, Rachel, and Leah; as well as many great nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle, and friend. He graduated from East High School and Marshall University. He worked in insurance and retired from Crawford and Company after 30 years of service. He will be deeply missed by many. No services will be held.
