Raymond Michael Lamb's Obituary
On the morning of June 26, 2024, Raymond Michael Lamb,60, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home following a long illness.Born on May 6, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, Ray was born to Raymond Lamb and the late EileenMarik Lamb of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.Retired from XPO logistics, where he worked as a supervisor, Ray was an avid sports fan whoenjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. He attended Marshall University on anathletic scholarship, where he was a proud member of the 1983-1986 Thundering Herd footballteam. He passed his love of sports on to his children, Michael and Samantha; both participatedin Fairland sports, where Ray served as a coach for many years. But his greatest sense ofaccomplishment came from being a father and grandfather.Ray is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kellie Freeman Lamb; their children Michael Lamb(Brittany) and Samantha Lamb (James); his parents Raymond Lamb and Patty Reece Lamb; hisbrothers Steve Lamb (Kim), Dave Lamb (Pam), Charlie Reece (Kelly) and his sister KarinStoebel; his grandchildren Phoebe Dickess and Ariel Lamb; as well as many cousins, nieces,and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home inProctorville, Ohio with pastor Kyle Burchette officiating.
