I grew up with Coach Ray's son, Michael. He was one of my best friends. I was also around Samantha quite a bit as she was in my younger brother's grade.
Ray was my coach in both football and baseball but I remember him mostly from football. I give him all the credit for bringing out a side of me in competition that I didn't know existed. I wouldn't not be able to have the career that I do now had I not crossed paths with Coach Ray. He helped make a man out of me.

Ray was a great role model to so many during his time as a coach. I'm forever grateful for you all being a loving and caring extended family to my boys as they grew up and for your friendship to me.
