Raymond Glen McDonald, 81, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. Born on March 13, 1944, in Wayne County, WV, he was the son of the late John F. and Alberta Ellen Thacker McDonald. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith McDonald; bonus daughter, Debbie Justice; grandson, Joe McDonald, and his siblings, Nellie (Jeff) Spurlock, Jenny Ruth (Bruce) Adkins, June (Cletta) Berry, Brother (Doris) McDonald, Larry (Donna) McDonald, Mike (Hazel) McDonald, Bob (Peggy) McDonald, and Sam (Carol) McDonald. He is survived by his daughter, Ellen (David) Parsons; son, Raymond (Tara) McDonald Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Stacy, Rachel, David, Raymond; special friends, Ronny Criss, Bub Thacker, Wanda, and Pam Burns, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M.
