Regina Phillips' Obituary
REGINA PHILLIPS, 74, of South Point, OH, died Thursday, January 30, 2014, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Monday, February 3, 2014, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH. Regina was born October 5, 1939, in Ironton, OH, a daughter of the late Frank and Easter Crager Stanley. She was a homemaker and member of Community of Christ Church in Ironton, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell J. Phillips; and two brothers, Randall and Keith Stanley. Regina is survived by one son, Mark Phillips of Huntington, WV; one daughter, Melinda Queen of South Point, OH; two grandchildren, Alison and Sara Queen; two great grandchildren, Kyndell and Kennedy Johnson; and one special sister-in-law, Helen Stanley. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 Noon Monday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Community Hospice of Ashland, KY.
