Richard Lee Dingess' Obituary
Richard Lee Dingess, 72, of Huntington, formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. Born on December 15, 1951 in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late Gerald and Naomi Jenkins Dingess, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Dingess Jr. and Gary James Dingess. He is survived by his children, Jeremy and Travis Dingess and their mother, Deanna Gail Dingess; nieces, Kerry Dingess, and Angela Dingess Jackson. Richard had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. A Memorial gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home.
