Richard E. Eckert's Obituary
Richard E. Eckert, 80, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Tuesday December 31, 2024 at home. He was born August 21, 1944 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Glenn and Stella Eckert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sara Eckert; and a son Christopher Eckert. He is survived by three children Bryan Eckert, Jennifer (Mark) Majher, and Danny (Sharon) Eckert; ten grandchildren Shae, Haley, Brian, Zack, Gregory Howard, Amanda MacArthur, Danny Joe, Jr., Blake, Katelyn, and Masa; five great-grandchildren Alyssa, Adley, Mason, Draeden, and Daxton; two sisters Phyllis Neitz and Debbie Thompson; and a special friend Alicia Dennison. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday January 4, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
