Richard Jerrell McMaster's Obituary
Richard Jerrell McMaster, 79, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at his home. He was born on August 17, 1944, in Chesapeake, OH, to the late Bus and Ella McMaster. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Joanna Lucas and Hilda Moore. He retired from Ensign Electric and Chesapeake School District. He was a 50 year member of Proctorville Masonic lodge #550 F member of Rockwood Baptist Church where he served as Deacon; and served on The Chesapeake City Council for 18 years. He is survived by his wife Carrol Kipp McMaster of 59 years; two sons Rick (Dana) McMaster of Cross Lanes, WV, and Joe (Michele) McMaster of Chesapeake, OH; one daughter Susie McMaster and special friend Bobby Hughes of Huntington, WV; five grandchildren Ashley (Brandon) Ruble, Joseph "Bub" (Cheryl) McMaster, Jordan (Haley) McMaster, M'Kenzie McMaster, and Drew Petroff; two brothers Bill McMaster of Proctorville, OH, and Denver McMaster of Proctorville, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastors Gavin Napier, Eddie Salmons, and Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow the service at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the funeral home. Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F&AM will conduct Masonic service at 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
