Richard "Rick" Eugene Cremeans' Obituary
Richard "Rick" E. Cremeans, 74, of Chesapeake, OH, for 52 year the husband of Delora (Dory) Jenkins Cremeans, was born on June 3, 1949, in Huntington, WV, to the late Richard and Phyllis Sexton Cremeans.
He attended Marshall University and worked in the building trades and manufacturing industry for several years. He is a lifelong Christian that moved his membership to Staunton Street Apostolic Church now Apostolic Life Cathedral in 1968. There he served as Sunday School teacher and Superintendent, Bus ministry, elder, and Assistant to the Pastor for 27 years, as well as secretary and treasurer.
He was a dedicated home Bible study teacher having consistently ministered in over 70 homes winning 100's of people to the Lord.He was convinced that the Apostles Doctrine was the only message of the New Testament Church.
In addition to his parents he suffered the loss of a daughter Wendy Jill Whitman and brother Scott Cremeans.
He rested this life peacefully Sunday, February 11, 2024, at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV.
He is held in loving memory by his wife Delora "Dory" Jenkins Cremeans; son Richard "Ricky" Forrest Cremeans, five grandchildren Logan Stickler, Landon Stickler, Ethan Cremeans (Kim), Elizabeth (Jeremiah), and Elaina, two great grandchildren Kennedy and Kayson; sister Donna (Tim) Webb; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 7 P.M. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Apostolic Life Cathedral. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. at the church. Burial will be held at Getaway Cemetery. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
