Richard Benson Shepard, 50, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 1, 1972, in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Ed Shepard. He was self-employed. He was a 1990 Fairland High School Graduate and attended Ohio State and Ohio University. He is survived by his mother Jill (James) Journell; two sons Ben and Caleb Shepard; two daughters Gracie and Lily Shepard; granddaughter Arilyn Shepard; and half-brother Joe Carte. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH is assisting the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
