Rick Boggs' Obituary
Rick Boggs, 70, of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 13, 2023, in St. Mary's Medical Center (Cornerstone Hospital). He was born June 22, 1953, in Huntington, WV son of the late Carl and Leona Prince Boggs. Rick is survived by his loving, adoring wife and soul mate, Mary White Boggs; children, Cathy Morris, and David Davenport; one brother, Alan (Peggy) Boggs; three grandchildren, Derek (Emma) Morris, Sammie Davenport (Hunter) and Summer Davenport; one great granddaughter, Calliope Morris; his nieces, Michelle Warden and Kristy Wiley; nephew, Jason Boggs; cousins; friends; and Mary's family who loved Rick like their own brother. Rick was a mechanic for many years working on vehicles and heavy equipment and even liked to build race cars. Rick was the light of many lives and will be missed. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
