OBITUARY
Rita Ann Fields Tussey
1936-2022
Rita Ann Fields Tussey, 85, of Catlettsburg, KY, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022 at home with her loving family at her side.
Mrs. Tussey was born November 27,1936 in Boyd County, KY to the late Roy and Eva Sparks Fields. Rita was a graduate of Boyd County High School and a devoted wife and mother of four children and one grandchild. She spent her life volunteering in school activities with her kids and for political causes with her beloved husband, George, who precedes her in death. She was a KY Wildcat Basketball Fan and enjoyed boating and fishing with George. She is also preceded in death by her dear sister, Kay Crisp and brother David "DD" Fields.
Rita is survived by her four children Lee Ann Tincher (Joe) of New Albany, IN, Thomas Allen Tussey (Laura) of Catlettsburg, KY, Susan Kay Tussey (Tina) of Lebanon Junction, KY, Michael Dean Tussey of Catlettsburg, KY, and one granddaughter, Lauren Audrey Tussey of Ashland, KY. She is also survived by her loving sister Pauline Wagner of Ashland KY, brothers Jim Fields (Cheryl), Roy Fields, and sister-in-law, Linda Fields of Catlettsburg, KY, brother-in-law Sam Tussey (Brenda) of Ashland, KY, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to honor Mrs. Tussey will be held on Saturday, March 19, at 12:00 at First Baptist Church Cannonsburg, Ashland, KY. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Community Hospice, Ashland, Ky or First Baptist Church Cannonsburg.
