Robbie Joe Paynter, Sr., 68, of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday July 14, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born May 7, 1957 in Cyclone, WV to the late Joe Edward Paynter and Edna Hylton. Left to mourn him is his wife of 48 years Sylvia Jean Paynter; his two sons Jason (Wendy) Paynter and Robbie Joe Jr. (Christie) Paynter; five grandchildren Tristan, Emily, and Cheylan Fox, and Sidney and Logan Paynter; two brothers Daron (Stephanie) Paynter and family of Oceana, WV, Randy (Kathleen) Paynter and family of Florida; sister Deborah McCully of Pennsylvania; two special nieces Stephanie (George) LaPrad and family, Beverly (Rodney) Lambert and family; and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
