One of the best teacher South Point School District has ever had and will have.

I've known Bob and Karen since we met while home schooling our kids. I last saw him New Years Eve. Such a faith filled, good man! I believe that he finished the race and is now sharing in God's reward, life on high with Christ Jesus. I feel such compassion for those he left behind.
It was an honor to know such an amazing God fearing man . He was the best teacher any student could ever have.

He got me thru my day, he was the best teacher, friend and mentor anyone could have. Elesia , SPHS Student

Never forget "double trouble" as me and sister walked down the hall past his class. Pep talks during lunch. Being 16 and pregnant in his class constantly saying it's okay you this! As I wanted to quit on everything but he helped me out with every assignment. Gave extra time on assignments after I had my little girl. And always emailed and checked on me. Always my favorite teacher to talk to and go to for any homework or just quiet time to study or chill during lunch. You'll be greatly missed halc. We love you.
“double what! what!” was my favorite phrase he used to say in class, his joy radiated through everyone. i could always come in his class to talk when needed, he always welcomed everyone no matter what♥️ you will forever be missed halc

Mr. Halcombe was like a dad to me, and he told me to keep going and trying in my life. I hope you get some good rest.
Rest in peace Mr. Halcombe.

Huge impact on the community you will be missed!
