Robert Ellsworth Carter Jr. 83, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at home. He was born on March 5, 1941, in Huntington, WV, to the late Robert E. Carter Sr. and Helen Carter. He was also preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Chapman. He was an avid golfer and a member of Riviera Country Club. He is survived by his wife Sharon Carter of 64 years; daughter Deanna (Mike) Natale of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren Carter Lynn Natale of Atlanta, GA, Kayla Harrison (Lyall) of Chattanooga, TN, and Morgan Hightower (Trevor) of Birmingham, AL; two great grandchildren Lilli Hightower and Henry Harrison; and four siblings Sharon Sullivan of Houston, TX, Barbara Manley of Florida, Bruce Corns of Titusville, FL, and Linda Springer of Titusville, FL. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 29, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. Burial will follow the service in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
