Robert 'JJ' Jason Cooper's Obituary
Robert "JJ" Jason Cooper, 35, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Hospital, South Carolina. He was born on November 23, 1984 in Hopkins County, KY. He flew into his parents beloved arms, the late Frederick Brown Cooper Jr. and Brenda Kay Blanchard. He is also preceded in death by his great-grandma Mamaw Fannie; Papaw Fred (Edna), and Ida Lester; nephew Zane; lifetime friend Cody Webber; cousin Jeff Jarrell; and many family and friends. He is survived by many family members who loved him dearly. He is survived by his wife Crystal Cooper; son Matthew Black; sister Tasha (Shane) Frasher, who loved him very much; brother Freddy (Amber) Cooper; nieces Brianna Frasher and Julia Cooper; nephews Jeremy, Jordan, Jacob Cooper, Braydon, and Brody Frasher; one great-niece Bailey Kay; best friend of 15 years Ashley; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was a first responder, loved going to derbies, and enjoyed volunteering in his community. Funeral service will be held at 12 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Jamie Baugh officiating. Burial will follow the service at McCellan Crum Cemetery, Dunlow, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
