Barbara Wood
It is with deep sadness that we learned of Roberts (Bobby 3) passing. I’m writing on behalf of my mother Barbara (Aunt Barbara) who would so like to be with the family at this time, but due to heath concerns is unable to make the trip. She wanted to express her deep sadness and sympathy for Kathy and the family. She has been remembering Bobby as he grew up, the smiles, laughter and joyful exuberance we all displayed during our youth. She wanted to express her thankfulness to Kathy for her unwavering support of her nephew. She knows that he is now in the company of God and suffers no longer, and for that she is thankful. I remember visiting my grandparents, and Bobby and I sitting with PawPaw in his radio room chatting about any number of things. Bobby was always kind hearted during those visits and I grew to admire him as a fellow fiction enthusiast. Over the years he proved again and again how much his fellow man meant to him through his various acts of kindness or kind words. I always associated the name Bobby with Robert B. Fullerton III. Recently someone called me “Bobby” and while I have never used that moniker, I embrace it in an effort to live up to my cousins legacy.
