Robert J McCafferty age 62 of Olive Hill, Ky. husband of Kathleen Mercer McCafferty, passed away Monday January 14th, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center Ashland Ky.. He was born December 31, 1956 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a son of Clyde and Geraldine Zelma Huffman McCafferty. Robert is survived by his wife Kathleen; son Bobby (Kate) McCafferty Muncy, Pa. Jesse (Natalie)McCafferty Blanchard,Pa., stepson Matthew Gault, Olive Hill, Ky. a granddaughter, Rylie. seven siblings; William Bill McCafferty, Mt Victory, OH., Walter (Betty)McCafferty; Marion, OH., Ron (Marty) McCafferty; Lakeview, OH, Sue (Rulon) Spring, Lakeview, OH., Jeff (Linda) McCafferty; Belle Center, OH., Theresa (Leo) Hangholt; Lakeview, OH., Tina (Greg) Williams; Bellefontaine, OH, and many aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Becky Lawrence and Sandy McCafferty, and a brother; Tom Seeling. Robert enjoyed traveling with his family and family bible discussions. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 21, 2019 at 2pm at the Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, OH with Pastor Matthew Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowe Family Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH. Family visitation will be held 12-1p, followed by open visitation from 1pm until time of service.
