Tom was very special to me. He was an extended family member. He has left a whole that is not replaceable. I'm glad your no longer suffering. Can't wait to see you on the other side. Love you.

Prayers and comfort to the family now and always.

Mr Phillips was my band teacher. He believed in each and every one of us and motivated us to do more, and I think we are better people because of it. My deepest sympathy to all, he will truly be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Tom many many years ago, and considered him a friend; in addition to "work family".

Prayers and blessings to the family. Knew Tom as an EMS student and colleague. One of the best! Rest easy my friend.

So sorry prayers for the family

I remember the many runs we made as EMT's with Gallia County. He was a crack up. He loved his family and music. His dedication to each task will be missed. RIP.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I worked with Tom and Dave for several decades at Southeast Ohio EMS District. Both of them were characters and so much fun to work with and be around, but both were very dedicated to providing skilled and compassionate patient care as Paramedics. Tom and Dave loved music and shared that love with thousands through their work as band directors, band competition judges, and endless work with churches and community organizations. Tom and Dave were a team and it just won't be the same with one of them gone. Tom is in God's arms now and we will all see each other again some day. Prayers and God's comfort for Dave, and for Tom's family, and for their many friends and students.

Tom was my jr high band director and then became a great friend that I had the pleasure of working the squad with. So many fun times with him and Dave both! He will be so missed! RIP

Much love and deepest sympathy to the family of an admired teacher and mentor.
