Robert Franklin Ramsey (September 7, 1955 - June 5, 2023)
Robert Franklin Ramsey, 67, of Huntington passed away peacefully on June 5, 2023. He joined his parents, George and Anna Ramsey, as well as his sister, Penny Morris, in their eternal home. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Burns Ramsey; brother, Jim Ramsey, as well as his two sons, Matt and Scott and his daughter, Kristen. His grandchildren Conley, Sloane, Teagan, Harper, and Haynes will miss their "Poppy/Pop" and the great joy and laughter that he brought to their lives.Bob and Terry were engaged while attending Marshall University in the late 1970's. However, fate intervened, and they were separated. But their love story continued through time and distance, as they finally reconnected in 2009, with Bob in Alabama and Terry in Ohio. God made plans for them to be together again, and they were married in 2012. Bob loved and cared for his family and always filled a room with his kindness and lighthearted nature. He will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those lucky enough to know him.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. on June 13, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm-6 p.m. All are welcome. Condolences may be expressed at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
