Robert Lee Ramsey's Obituary
Robert Lee Ramsey, 84, of Proctorville, OH, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in Germany, where he met his wife, Dagmar. Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dagmar Ramsey and sons, Michael Ramsey and Robert Lee Ramsey II. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Ramsey; grandchildren, Michaela Lunsford, Steven Lunsford, Robert Lee Ramsey III, Chase Ramsey, Taylor Ramsey, and Grace Ramsey, and eight great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 2248 Adams Ave., Huntington, WV, with visitation from 10–11 A.M. with reception to follow the service. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s honor to the Special Olympics or consider gifting potted plants to keep his memory growing in the hearts of his loved ones.
