Dear Debbie, Robin, Cody, Jacob, Conner, and Jenna - we are so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a wonderful man who will be missed sorely by all who knew and loved him. You are remembered in our prayers, that God will be your strength, will give you peace, and will restore your joy. Love in Christ, Debbie & Nat DeBruin
Debbie - Summer on the Sabin farm meant 5 o’clock risings followed by a full day of chores: rounding up cows for the morning milking and baling hay. Bob started his days lugging full pails of milk. Hogs, calves and horses all needed feeding followed by work in the fields. His pony Buster was his pride and joy. On my frequent weekend visits I would ride on Buster behind Bob. Often, Buster would buck us off and run back home. Bob and I would fish in the Elk Creek waters. I can still see Bob casting his pole into the water and pulling back a bull head which we would later fry on a bon fire. Bob wasn’t just my cousin - he was a true friend and as he would always say - we were brothers. Susan and I send you all our love.
Dear Debbie,\r\nOur sincere sympathy to you on the loss of Bob. Your great efforts of care for Bob for so many years enabled him to enjoy life in the fullest. God bless you.
I was so sorry to hear that Bob had passed. His smiling face and words of encouragement were something that I looked forward to at bowling. He always had something kind to say. He will surely be missed. Praying for his family.
Our sincerest condolences to all of you. One thing that my Pastor has always said is to remember, at times like this, that our separation is merely temporary. It helps me, and hope it does you as well.
I first met Bob when he came to work at WGNT radio in Huntington. We had many laughs and many adventures while working there. Bob was a great guy and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet all of his children when there were little. He and his wife even visited me here in Bridgeport. Bob will be greatly missed by all that knew him. My deepest condolences to the entire family. May God be with you all in this time of your grief and always. - Marsha
I can’t express my sympathy for you Deb. Bob was a wonderful person and the world will be a little dimmer without him. Praying for comfort. Love Jeff
