Growing up, Robin was the coolest mom in school. She not only allowed, but embraced live music in her abode to us wild and artistic teenagers. My most favorite memory was pre-prom photo session 1992 Chesapeake High School. If I remember correctly, this was Tim and Amanda's first date A few couples posed in front of a festively decorated Christmas tree... in May! She thought it was pretty and kept it up; lucky for us to have the best background ever. I haven't located these photographs, but they do live vividly in my mind. Every moment I spent in the presence of Robin felt like a million moments. She radiated this light and energy that was so positive and uplifting. I swear the woman never aged, her smile was timeless. If I can think of anyone to become the best guardian angel to her family, it is Robin. I will never understand why the best people pass prematurely, but know she lived her life to the fullest expansion and left behind the greatest gifts, pieces of herself within her children and grandchildren. Her light will carry on within them, no doubt. We should all be grateful for more Robins in this world. (wow. birds literally just began to sing as I typed the last line).
