Rodney J. Wilson's Obituary
Rodney Jordan Wilson, 67, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 in St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born January 11, 1953 in Sutton, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and stepfather Anna B. and Donald W. Meade, and father James R.J. Wilson all were from Huntington, WV. He is survived by his wife, Martha O. Wilson of Proctorville, Ohio; one son Rodney "RJay" Wilson and spouse Tony Weiman of Las Vegas, NV; stepdaughter Denise Ashlock; stepson David Reynolds of Murrysville, PA; four siblings Kayo Wilson of Huntington, WV, Harold (Debbie) Wilson of Huntington, WV, Don Wilson of Orlando, FL and Diane Wilson-Perry of Huntington, WV; special niece Kelli J. (Shawn) Dixon of Huntington, WV; special nephews, Jason Wilson of Huntington, WV, Mark Wilson of Huntington, WV and Kirk (Emily) Wilson; a step granddaughter Shanna (Chase) Estep of Johnson City, TN; cousin and best friend Rocky Truman of Norton, Ohio; and great nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Rodney loved and was loved by many, including many cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Rodney worked for Hamilton Chevrolet in Proctorville, Ohio for 28 years and retired from Federated Auto parts in Huntington, WV. The family would like to thank the Cardiac ICU at St. Marys Medical Center in Huntington, WV for their loving care. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake United Methodist Church or New Hope Methodist Church.
