Roger Dale Adkins' Obituary
Roger Dale Adkins, 70, of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at home. He was born January 7, 1950 in Pikeville, KY son of the late Everett and Genevieve Gibson Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Paul Adkins and a sister, Carrie Dickerson. He is survived by a daughter Troy Dawn Davis of Huntington, WV; a son Roger Dale Adkins, Jr.; one grandson, Zack Davis; two brothers, Eddie Adkins of South Point, Ohio and Jimmie (Brenda) Adkins of Chesapeake, Ohio; one sister Katherine Grobe of Huntington, WV; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a United States Vietnam Army Veteran. He had worked as a truck driver for WV Electric. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
