Roger Brent Fetty 1950 - 2017
Roger Brent Fetty, 67, of Willow Wood, Ohio passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at home. He was born May 11, 1950 in Huntington, WV son of the late Jasper Arnold and Minnie Ellen Ellis Fetty. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Paul Mason Fetty and one sister Paula M. Elkins. He retired from Special Metals. He attended Huntington Schools and Tri-State Bible College. Roger served in the U.S. Air Force in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Diane Pemberton Fetty; son Jason Brent Fetty of Chesapeake, Ohio; sisters Rose (Paul) Smith of Hurricane, WV and Brenda (Sam) Tussey of Ashland, Ky; brother Ed Fetty of Ashland, Ky; and many nieces, nephews, great grandnieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday October 19, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Thomas Jeffrey. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday October 18, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please donate to Facing Hunger Foodbank 1327 7th Avenue Huntington, WV 25701.
