Roger Alan Gay's Obituary
Roger Alan Gay, 78, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Monday February 2, 2026, at home. He was born on November 15, 1947, in Marion, OH, to the late Donald and Virginia Gay. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Donald “Spike” Gay and David “Moose” Gay. He was a retired electrician from CSX. He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran and a coordinator for Gold Wing Chapter in Huntington and Ohio. He is survived by his wife Beverly Ann Gay; one son Scott Gay of Proctorville, OH; one daughter Jody Gay of Huntington, WV; three grandchildren Sierra “Booger” Knight, Peyton “Peanut” Knight, and Caden “Scooter” Knight; two great grandchildren Oliver “Oscar” Knight and Xena “Bean” Jarvis; four sisters Nancy Foster, Peggy Bond, Kathy Puthoff, and Judy Thoman; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday February 16, 20206 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, Ohio Condolences may be expressed to the family at https://ehallfuneralhome.com.
