Roger Alton Parker, Jr 1988 - 2016
Roger Alton Parker Jr, 28, went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 02, 2016. Roger is also reuniting with his mom in Heaven. Roger was born March 17, 1988. Roger passed away at the home of a friend due to accidental circumstances. Roger was employed by Marcos Pizza on 5th Avenue. Roger had previously attended Ohio University on both the Ironton and Proctorville campuses. Roger was currently enrolled at MCTC preparing to take finals to complete his first semester. Roger was pursuing a degree in history with a minor in English. Roger always had a passion for learning and was an intelligent and quick learning student. Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Milissa K Parker and his paternal grandfather James A Parker. Roger is survived by his father Roger A Parker Sr. and his sister Courtney Lang and her husband Brandin. In addition Roger leaves behind a paternal grandmother Lois Parker and maternal grandparents Larry and Betty Anderson, six aunts, Beth Crank, Lisa Hawley, Michelle Anderson, Pat Hart, Brenda Lambert, and Donna Kleinhans; and one uncle Larry Anderson. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday December 16, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating.
