Roger Allen Waugh's Obituary
Roger Allen Waugh, 74, of Huntington, WV, passed away on November 16,2022, at The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, OH. He was born on October 11, 1948, in Huntington, WV, the son of Ronald A. and Margie M. (Harbour) Waugh. Roger graduated from Huntington East High School, Class of 1966. Following graduation, he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Roger graduated from Marshall University in 1977 with a master's degree in business administration. He retired from the United States Postal Service. He was married to Judy G. Zickefoose. Roger was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and Highlawn Baptist Church. He was predeceased by both his parents. Surviving in addition to his wife, Judy Waugh, are his son, Roger Waugh, and his wife Tracy, and their two daughters Annaleese and Reagan of Huntington, WV; daughter Tonda Waugh and Brad Wilson and their son Bradley of Chesapeake, OH; step-daughter Pamela Capparelli and her husband Dave of Cummings, GA and their children Carson and Reese Phillips; step-daughter Lisa Zickefoose and her daughter Abigail of Huntington, WV and step-son Robert Zickefoose of Huntington, WV and his children Whitney Whitfield and her daughter Kehlani, Dylan Zickefoose, and Darien Zickefoose; one brother, Ronnie Waugh and his wife Lanna of Ona, WV and one sister, Glenna Hendrick and her husband Jack of Huntington, WV; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 5 pm Saturday November 19, 2022 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
