Ronald Carter 1950 - 2017
Ronald Carter, 66, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born April 29, 1950 in Ironton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father John Lucian Carter, Sr. He is survived by his mother Edith Carter Williams; his wife of 47 years Patricia Ward Carter; two daughters Tracy (Joe) Brumfield and Kristy Webb; two grandchildren Kaydee and Carter Brumfield; two brothers John (Lois) Carter and Donnie (Janie) Carter; and several nieces and nephews. He was a US Army veteran and he retired from the VA Medical Center, Huntington, WV. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday April 23, 2017 at Locust Grove Cemetery Willow Wood, Ohio by Pastor John Carter. Proctorville VFW Post # 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday April 23, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
