Rosa Lee Austin's Obituary
ROSA LEE AUSTIN, 90, of South Point, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Heartland of Riverview. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, April 11, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Burlington with Dr. Douglas C. Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Rosa was born February 18, 1924, in Holden, WV, a daughter of the late Phillip Ward, Jr. and Ella Martin Ward. She was a private duty nurse in New York City and a member of First Baptist Church of Burlington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Rosa is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Burlington, 7475 County Road 1, South Point, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of Huntington. Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH, is in charge of arrangements.
