Roscoe Meade's Obituary
Roscoe Meade, 72, of Genoa, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at home. He was born on March 6, 1953, to the late Willie Meade and Elta Eckman in Lewisburg, WV. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Vanessa Meade Luce, Carolyn Sparks, and Mary Pierce, and brothers Johnny Meade and Willie Meade. He is survived by his nine children Marcie Nelson of Sumerco, WV (2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons), Roscoe (Angel) Meade (2 granddaughters) of Huntington, WV, Rebecca Irwin (3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons) of Wayne, WV, Jenniffer (Travis) Burd (2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons) of Huntington, WV, Tammy Meade (1 granddaughter and 1 grandson) of Huntington, WV, Darrin Meade (4 granddaughters) of Grandview, TX, Michelle (Nick) Randolph (1 granddaughter, 2 grandsons) of Akron, Ohio, Tiffany (Kurt) Meade (3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons) of Melbourne, FL, Hope Meade (1 grandson) of Wayne, WV, and 4 sisters Rose Meade of Genoa, WV, Sharon (Ted) Hatfield of Salt Rock, WV, Gloria Sparks of Huntington, WV, and Hester McCormick of Ironton, Oh, along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH.
