Rose Carolyn Blankenship, 76, of Ironton, OH, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. Born on April 1, 1948, in Ironton, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Dorothy Marie Ackison Rodehaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dana King. Rose was a wonderful and loving mother. She was a kind woman who loved everyone and never had a bad thing to say no matter the situation. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Andrea) Whitley, Marc Whitley, and David Whitley, all of Ashland, KY; grandchildren, Brady (Kayla) Whitley, Cassidy Whitley, Robert (Brooklyn) Johnson, Laura Whitley, Marc Whitley II, Katelyn Whitley, and David “Alex” Whitley; great-grandchildren, Logan and Willow Whitley, Tony Johnson, Levi Johnson, and Ella and Shylin Sherman; brother, Jim (Saundra) Rodehaver, and cousin, Peggy (Chris) Hutchison.
