Roy Dale Stapleton, 57, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Ashland, Ky. He was born October 13, 1959 in Ironton, Ohio son of the late Paul Edward and Mary Robinson Stapleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Carolyn Stapleton. He worked as a carpenter. He is survived by two daughters Paulette Campbell of Ironton, Ohio and Jamie Ross of Pedro, Ohio; four grandchildren Breanna Aldridge, Hannah Campbell, Maddison Shelton and Levi Ross; four brothers Rick Stapleton, Dannie (Lela) Stapleton, Mike (Terri) Stapleton and Joe (Kathy) Stapleton all of Ironton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Buckeye Cemetery, Ohio Furnace, Ohio. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Green Township Fire Department, Franklin Furnace, Ohio.
