Ruby Gay Pruitt, 68, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at her residence. Born on October 2, 1955 in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harry Edwin and Helen Louise Lycans Spears. She is survived by her kid dog, Rascal; sons, Chad Rowe and Jamie (Virginia Carpenter) Rowe; brothers, Gale (Melody) Spears and Ronnie (Angie) Spears; sister, Nancy (Paul) Laprab; nieces, Alisha Connor, and Sierra Webb; nephews, Derek Connor, Jordan Laprab, and Taylor Spears; great-nieces, Madison, Aubree and Sophia; great-nephews, Logan and Cameron, and grandson, Jackson Ferguson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Rob Jones, officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M., one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
