Ruth Ann Marcum's Obituary
Ruth Ann Marcum, 65, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Born on December 18, 1959, in Columbus, OH, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Dorothy Lou Carver Marcum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Marcum and her sisters, Lillian Wilson, Louise Marcum, and Vicki Carver. Ruth is survived by her sons, Bill (Nicole) Daniels of Chesapeake, OH, and Steve Daniels of Jackson, OH; daughter, Patty Thacker of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Jaycee, Jeremy, Daniel, Jayden, and Cody; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Marcum of Kenova, WV, Betty Daniels of Kenova, WV, and Kay Hensley; brother David Carver; and several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
