Ruth Ann Whitley's Obituary
Ruth Ann Whitley, 79, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at home. She was born October 27, 1944 daughter of the late Wade and Edith Mae Hayton Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Phyllis Jean Powers, Janet Truesdell, and Linda Burcham; brothers James Powers, Paul Powers, and Earl Powers. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ronnie Whitley; her daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Kevin Jarrell; granddaughter Katie Pruitt; step-grandchildren Cody Pruitt and Nathan Jarrell; two brothers Keith Powers and Jerry (Brenda) Powers; special aunt Ruby Hayton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday February 18, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Entombment will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday February 18, 2024 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
