Sallie Vaughn King's Obituary
Sallie Vaughn King, 73, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born August 31, 1944 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Jay and Lucille Fortner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings King, Jr who is waiting with open arms. She is survived by three children Jeffrey King of Huntington, WV, Tamara (Erick) Ambrose of Hurricane, WV, and Tonya (Ron) Davis of Milton; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one brother Ejay Fortner of Wayne; and one sister Judy Fortner of Wayne. She graduated from Wayne High School and was a homemaker. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Sam Adkins. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
