Sally Lynn Johnson's Obituary
Sally Lynn Johnson, 66, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with our father on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born August 3, 1955 in Huntington, WV to the late William E. and Marion C. Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Billy E. Johnson. She graduated from Huntington High School and Marshall University with a nursing degree to become an RN. She worked at Ormond Memorial, Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, Cabell Huntington Health Department, and OVP Department as well as an active member in DSR Division of Rehabilitation Services. She was a WV State Certified Recovery Coach, Peer Support Specialist, Harm Reduction Specialist, and Addiction Behavior Counselor. Sally was 25 year RN who loved her job and family. She battled addiction and became sober the last 11 years of her life which she dedicated to her family and her recovery family. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Gamoa L. (Cory) Auxier; two sons Steven Neil Johnson and Patrick Shane Johnson; two grandchildren Mihkail W. and Macy Jane Auxier; one great granddaughter Aliah Jae; two siblings Carol and Billy Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday December 4, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
