Sallye Robinson's Obituary
SALLYE ROBINSON, 89, of Chesapeake, OH, died Friday, April 24, 2015, in River's Bend Health Care with her husband at her side. Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Sallye was born October 27, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Effie Shafer Fogas. She worked in the Huntington Dress Factory for several years and then enjoyed building houses with her husband. Sallye spent time making beautiful quilts and crocheting. She also attended the former Highlawn Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister; three brothers; and four half-brothers. Sallye is survived by her husband of 68 years, Wilford Robinson; her sister, Penny McWhorter of Florence, SC; her nieces, Peggy Crabtree of Largo, FL, Patricia Eastham of Proctorville, OH, and Cindy Read of Las, Vegas, NV; her nephews, Rick McWhorter of Greenwood, SC, Danny Boster of Grayson, KY, and Larry Brammer of Proctorville, OH; and her great niece who visited often, Pam Powell of Jackson, OH. A special thank you is extended to Katie Brammer for her loving care and compassion these last several years. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Tuesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneidergriffin.com.
