Samuel Lee Davidson's Obituary
Samuel Lee Davidson, 64, went home to his Lord on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital after a brief illness. He passed while holding his wife's hand. Sam was the son of Eugene (Cooch) and Louise Harden Davidson. He was with the love of his life Pam Miller for 47 years. Sam was a devoted and loved member of First Baptist Church of Sheridan and a graduate of South Point High school.Sam worked for Buckeye Monument before leaving and working at Ironton Iron until its closing. Sam loved to fish and enjoyed spending time on a lake somewhere sharing fishing stories. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Estel Davidson.Those left to celebrate his memory are one son, Joey (Amanda) Davidson of Coal Grove Ohio and one daughter, Misty (Chris) Butts of Ironton, Ohio; two grandsons who were his best buddies and partners in crime, Wyatt and Jaxon of Coal Grove, Ohio; two sisters Deb Nance of South Point, Ohio and Sherry (Roy) Southers of Ironton, Ohio; one brother Mark Davidson of Coal Grove, Ohio; two bonus sisters Ellen Miller of South Point, Ohio and Joann Lyons Haverhill, Ohio. Special nephew and nieces Kenny (Missy) and Mickenzie Webb of Ironton, Ohio, as well as many other nieces and nephews and loved ones.A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Sheridan. Service will begin at 5:00 with Pastor Billy Markins preaching. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
