Samuel Matthew Wilson's Obituary
Samuel Matthew Wilson, 46, of Coal Grove, OH passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Wilson and three sisters, Kathy May Wilson, Linda Louise Wilson and Connie Sue "Wilson" Miller. Samuel is survived by his mother, Vada Loraine Wilson; his wife, Betty Marie Wilson of Coal Grove, OH; two daughters, Christina Porter of Coal Grove, OH and Krystalyn Brockwell of North Carolina; one son, Samuel Wilson Jr. of Coal Grove, OH; one step-daughter, Miranda Wilson of Proctorville, OH; one step-son, Brandon Dickson of Proctorville, OH; two sisters, Sally Wilson of Coal Grove, OH and Jill Johnson of Coal Grove, OH; five brothers, Carl Wilson, Ernest Wilson, George Wilson, Jerry Wilson and Dickie Wilson all of Coal Grove, OH; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A very special thank you to Sam's niece, Savannah Wilson for being his caretaker. She was special to Sam and he loved her very much. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm by Pastor Mark Adkins on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Community Tabernacle Church 214 Depot St., Coal Grove, OH 45638. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11am - 1pm. Burial will follow in McKenzie Cemetery in Ironton, OH. Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
