Sandra Kaye Arnold's Obituary
Sandra Kaye Ward Arnold, 72, of Proctorville, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ward and Larry Ward, and one sister Lyndell Pemberton. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 ½ years John; three daughters Cindy and Melissa Arnold of Lancaster, Ohio and Jennifer (Paul) Richardson of Hurricane, West Virginia. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ashlee Graham and Alyssa Young, both of Lancaster, OH, and Johnathan (Sara) Bellomy of Norfolk, VA; five great grandsons Noah, Elijah, William, Braedan, and Sullivan; three sisters Glenda (Claude) Hutchison, Patricia (Jerry) Bazemore, and Chestene Miller all of Proctorville, OH; and Fern Liston of Columbus, OH; one brother Doc (Dona) Ward also of Proctorville, OH; as well as many nieces and nephews. Kaye was a 1967 graduate of Fairland High School and on April 7, 1966, she met the love of her life, John Arnold. They were married on November 19, 1966 and were converted to Christ on October 28, 1973. They remained happily married until her death. Kaye worked for Drs. Ali Garmestani and Stephen Miller in insurance billing and as office manager later in her career until retirement. Kaye loved growing her flowers in the summertime. She was very good at it as many of her Facebook friends can attest. As her flowers faded in the fall her next enjoyment came at Christmas time. She loved that time of year and looked forward to decorating her home with lights and nutcrackers. More joy came with the birth of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kaye loved her family very much and enjoyed many fun filled vacations with her girls when they were younger. She always enjoyed celebrating and making their birthdays very special. Kaye was a beautiful lady inside and out. Anytime she was out and about her appearance was always impeccable. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends, but we rest in the hope of one day seeing her again. She is with Jesus now and her suffering is over. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Monte Sheets officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
