Sarah Eloise Singer Shavor's Obituary
Sarah Eloise Singer Shavor, 97, of Proctorville, OH passed away Thursday November 22, 2018 at Heritage Center Huntington, WV. She was born December 19, 1920 in Proctorville, Ohio daughter of the late Floyd Dillon and Pearl Bennett Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother Garnet Dillon; husbands Frank Singer and Pidge Shavor; children Carol Holland, Charles Franklin Singer, Rose Holland; one granddaughter; and eight siblings. She retired from Owens Illinois. She is survived by one daughter Sarah Miller of McConnelsville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; two sisters Alice Williams (Eugene) of Proctorville, Ohio and Ethel Morton-Hankin of Columbus, Ohio. A graveside Service will be 1p.m. Sunday November 25, 2018 at Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio with Pastor Bill Flannery. There will be no visitation.
