Sharon Kay Brown's Obituary
SHARON KAY FERRIS BROWN, 62, of Grayson, KY, surrounded by her loving family departed this life to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 31, 2012. Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Heron Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Sharon was the precious daughter born to Billy Joe and Barbara Blankenship Ferris on July 15, 1950. She was a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Left behind to deeply miss her is her loving husband and caregiver, James (Wes) Brown, children, Wendy (Louie) Phillips, Lori (Brian) Jackson, Michael (Celeste) Brown, stepdaughter, Sharon (Doug Raburn) Brown Haupricht, mother, Barbara (Bill) Baylous and grandchildren, Amber, Shawn, Seth, Wyatt, Ryan, Blake, Nathan, Tyler, Hailey, and Baby Khara that is expected to arrive in October. Also surviving is her brother, Steven (Cathy) Ferris and their children, special aunt and uncle, Jean and Johnny France, special great niece, Annie, loving sister in law and brother in law, Jim and Eileen Lewis, and special niece, Ricci, and a host of other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Ferris, maternal grandparents, James and Ruth Blankenship, paternal grandparents, Garland and Virginia Ferris, and father in law and mother in law, James and Nellie Brown. At 11 AM on Tuesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH, the family will greet friends and guests prior to the service. The family would like to thank the kind, caring and compassionate angels at the Community Hospice Care Center for the impeccable care provided to Sharon.
